The acronym F.A.C.E. stands for film, arts & culture, coding & research, and entrepreneurship. FACE is a 7-week summer youth training program facilitated through Urgent Inc. and sponsored by the South East Overtown Park West Community Redevelopment Agency (SEOPW CRA) nd Miami Dade County. The program originated in the summer of 2013 as FACE: Forward, the initiative this year is FACE: The Experience. This paid summer internship develops students from the ages of 16-24 targeting the youth in the Overtown community. All student participants will present a professional grade product to the community at the end of the 7-week period.
