Coding 2015

These past few weeks, the interns of the FACE coding institute have been making lots of progress learning the fundamentals of web development. They spent time on CodeAcademy learning HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, tools which help them create content and stylize web pages. We have begun working on the Historic Overtown "Walking Tour" web app as well and the interns will start learning JavaScript as we progress this week. Hopefully by next week, they will have all the tools necesary to start adding features to the web app!

The coding interns also helped with a community service project at the Little Haiti Community Garden, where they helped with landscaping and renovating the gardens.
